Have you been introduced to Angel Food Ministries yet? It is a non-profit, non-denominational organization dedicated to providing grocery relief to communities throughout the United States. Angel Food Ministries crosses denominational lines and has spread the good news of Jesus Christ through salvation tracts that are placed in each food order. Angel Food can be a blessing to the people in your neighborhood, your friends and your family.

Angel Food Ministries began 11 years ago on a pastor’s back porch feeding 34 families. The headquarters is in Georgia and there are over 1200 distribution sites located throughout the United States. We are blessed to have one of those distribution sites in our area—right here in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky.

Church of the Harvest is now open to start taking orders from the public. THE LAST DATE TO PLACE YOUR ORDER ONLINE IS MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 15TH AT 11PM. Printed order forms for September will be available August 24th, but we will not have office hours scheduled to take orders until September 4th.

The Angel Food main menu is sold for $31.00 Generally, one regular unit or box of food assists in feeding a family of four for about one week or a single senior citizen for almost one month. Each month’s menu is different than the previous month and consists of both fresh and frozen foods. The average retail value of the box is $50-$60. Angel Food also offers specialty boxes such as steak, chicken and pork. The price of these boxes is usually $16.00-$20.00.

Order @ Civic Center Sept. 4 (11 am - 1 pm) & Sept. 5 (9 am - 11 am)

There are no second-hand items, no damaged or out-dated goods, and no dented cans without labels. There is no limit to the number of boxes an individual can purchase and there are no income guidelines or applications to complete. The food can be paid for with cash or EBT card (U.S. Food Stamp Program). Payment must be received at time of order.
