Meet The Pastors
Since
1987 to today, Pastors Marion and Missy Fawns have been building a partnership
based on a foundation of faith and love for God. Following God’s leading, they
became the Pastors of Church of the Harvest in 1995 and have been going strong
ever since. Together, they are a powerful team.
Pastor Marion leads and guides our church. His heart is to love our people unconditionally, and help our congregation grow into men and women who know who they are in Christ Jesus. Pastor Marion teaches basic principles of faith that help us to believe, confess, and receive the promises of God. He makes God’s Word accessible, and keeps us smiling as we learn to apply it to our daily lives.
Pastor Missy grew up with a love for music and God’s Word. Calling on those years of learning and serving, she leads the praise and worship at Church of the Harvest. Her teaching anointing has helped establish principles that change lives, families and our world.
Pastors Marion and Missy have three beautiful children: Roman, Jake and Sarah. Each one is involved in the working operation of the church and contributes in a valuable way.
In 2001, Church of the Harvest moved into their first debt-free building located on 15.5 acres of beautiful property in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky. The ministry has been totally debt free since August 2005!
Today, plans are being made for the new sanctuary that will seat 450.

October, 2004, marks a special time in the life of Pastor Marion. He has now been in the pastorate for 15 years. Through study of the Word, associations, mentoring, and experience, he has gained a knowledge of God's will for the church few men his age possess. Pastor Marion has learned to balance the spiritual and physical aspects of a church CEO with grace, compassion, and yet a firmness needed for the congregation to have a complete feeling of safety, accountability, and freedom.
